Big Creek Outdoors was founded in 1998 by Joe Tamburello with a simple goal - provide reliable, high-quality lawn care services to the local community.  What started as a small neighborhood operation quickly began to grow.  In the early days, Joe was mowing around 20 yards a week using his dads lawn tractor, going door to door throughout the neighborhood to build the business one customer at a time.

A few years later, Joe's brother Matt joined the company, and together they continued to expand the business through hard work, reliability, and strong relationships with their customers.  From those humble beginnings, Big Creek Outdoors has grown into a trusted local company that now manages hundreds of acres of grass every week for residential and commercial clients throughout the area.

While we've grown significantly over the years, we still pride ourselves on remaining a locally owned and operated company.  We are not a huge corporation and that exactly how we like it.  Today our team consists of around 15 dedicated employees who share the same commitment to quality service and attention to detail that the company we built on.

About five years ago, we made the decision to separate our fertilization and weed control services into a dedicated company, allowing us to better specialize in those treatments and provide and even higher level of service.  Today we are also the owners of Big Green Turf Management, which handles all fertilization, weed control, insecticide applications as well as any lawn renovation services, like core aeration and seeding for our customers.

Between Big Creek Outdoors and Big Green Turf Management, we offer a full range of services including weekly lawn mowing, fertilization and weed control programs, commercial grounds maintenance, brush hogging, snow removal and large scale property management.  Our goal has always been simple - to provide dependable service and take pride in every lawn and property we maintain.
